In 2020 the BOCC authorized the purchase of fans for Barn 44 and 45. They were purchased
with the intent that the staff would do the install. Here we are a year later and have not yet
found the time for the install. Therefor we are requesting that we contract with Neppel Electric
to do the install.
Per the approved 2021 Capital Budget, we still have an excess of REST funds left from the stall
purchase.
1 am requesting authorization to proceed with the installation of the fans in Barn 44 and 45
using Neppel Electric with a cost estimate of $4750 plus tax. The funds would come from the
new stall excess funds for Barns 46 and 47.
