Re: Consent to contract to move dirt pile and excavate north end of track
Per the approved 2021 Capital Budget,, $45,000 was set aside from FEET funds for the
Excavation and move of the North end of the former race track on the rodeo grounds. The track
consists of hundreds of yards of dirt and rock.
Three bids were received below:
Gray Excavation $103,,584 including tax
Danco Excavation $62,756 including tax
I M. Pacific Excavation $47,64x.980 including tax
I am requesting authorization to enter into a contract (For your signature) with J.M. Pacific. The
project is somewhat urgent and needs to be completed by the week before Rodeo. A contract
will follow this request.
The extra $2,64x..80 would come from the same budget for Noble 'Installation excess
The budget line item for this purchase would be 32.178,000 116,594736214, Haul away piles
of debris*
