Payment of Interim Wages
This Memorandum of Understanding is entered into by and between the Grant County Public
Employees Association, representing the recognized employees of the Public Works Unit, hereinafter
referred to as the "Union", and Grant County, Washington, hereinafter referred to as the "Employer".
Effective 05105121, the Union and the Employer agree to provide additional compensation to three
members of the Public Works bargaining unit for an interim period of time.
a) The payment commences 05/05/21.
b) The payment will continue for the next 60 days.
c) The payment will be made to Brittany Lutz, Cathy Carranco, and Evelyn Zepeda in recognition
of covering the duties of the "Accounting Clerk 1/Accounts Payable";
d) The payment will a stipend of $160.00 paid every pay period.
This will be considered a one-time, non -precedent setting action agreed to by the parties to address a
specific situation.
