One area where we consistently get complaints about is heat around the barns during Fair.
After discussions with the Livestock Committee we came up with a plan to cover the steer
scales .and holding pens with shade cloth. TI his will also help keep the adjacent pig barn and
steer barn cooler during Fair..
The shade cloth is custom to fit between the two barns and strong enough to allow us to keep it
up through the summer months regardless of the weather. It has increased webbing for
strength as well as d rings for attachment.
The budget line item fear this purchase Is 126.168,00-9116.594736210, excess funds from the
Horse Stalls in Barn 46 and 47. The purchase amount is $2450 plus tax fram Inland Tdrp and
Liner,
