According to RCW 54.28.090, the county legislative authority shall
direct the county treasurer to distribute these funds to each
taxing district in the county other than school districts in a
manner they deem most equitable, except not less than an amount
equal to .75% of the gross revenue obtained by a district from the
sale of electrical energy within any unincorporated city or town
shall be remitted to such city or town.
Attached is a copy of the computation of the cities' and towns'
portion which amounts to a total of $893,965.71 and monies to go
directly to Fire 8 General and North Central Regional Library.
The balance of $2,272,616.46 is to be distributed according to
your direction.
Assuming the amount will be disbursed the same as last year, the
numbers would be as follows:
