3:30 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the following budget
extension requests:
• Sheriff's Office request in the amount of $2,100.00 to lease 100 sq ft of office space at the Port
of Mattawa Office located at 20140 Rd 24 -SW, Ste G, Mattawa WA for a substation office.
• Grant Integrated Services/Developmental Disabilities in the amount of $82,000.00 for
Behavioral Health funding operating transfers and the cost of fencing that was inadvertently
budgeted in the wrong fund.
Tom Jones, Sheriff discussed his request. No employee from GrIS was in attendance.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Stone, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones to approve the budget extensions as presented.
The motion passed unanimously.
