RESOLUTION No. 22- Oq [) -CC
WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate level of budget for the
following expenses:
District Court request in the amount of $125,000.00 to soundproof District Court courtroom #301
using Trial Court Improvement Funds (127.169).
Commissioner's Office in the amount of $50,000.00 to pay invoices on Sandra Van Osten's
contract for her consulting services regarding homeless programs and the Homeless Task Force
(131.001).
Veterans Assistance Fund in the amount of $100,000.00 from the Veterans Reserve Fund
(104.146.00.0000.30800000) to pay for wages/professional services/rent and utilities for Veterans
in need.
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2022
budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to authorize
additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of September 2022 at 3:30 p.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a budget
appropriation in the total amount of $275,000.00 to be allocated to the 2022 budget according to the
following schedule of categories and items:
