CADCA is holding their 31s' annual national leadership forum in National Harbor, IVIDJanuary 3],2O22
through February 3, 2022. Bernadette Crawford is requesting approval to attend this training.
Travel dates will be Sunday, January 30, 2022, and a return date of Friday, February 4, 2022.
Grant Integrated Services supports Bemadette"sattendance at this event. Here are the reasons Bernadette
has requested to attend this training:
"CADCA'snational forum isa4-dayconference packed with multiple adult and youth -oriented opportunities
tolearn the latest strategiestofightsubstancemisuseandhearfnzmnationa|k/knovvnexpehsandpoUcy
makers with a dull day dedicated to Capitol Hill events. The forum is held in the Washington, DC area every
year and brings together more than 2,700 participants representing community coalitions, government
leaders, youth, addiction treatment professionals, researchers and many more individuals. This training is
strongly encouraged for all CPWI coalition coordinators. I will be able to bring back many skills and
knowledge that I can use for curriculum and implementation strategies for our community coalition."
