Criminal and diversion referrals are currently up to date. ii. TRUANCY: Truancy numbers have not changed since the end of the school year. We currently have 151 active petitions, 134 total stays, 124 stays filed this school year, 63 stays lifted and sent to court and 40 contempt of court filed. We currently have 6 active ARY petitions and 2 that are being processed. We continue to hear ARY petitions on Mondays. DEPENDENCY: The dependency unit is also doing regular docket hearings, via WebEx. Our dependency unit currently have 227 active cases. 3) Martin Hall: There has been no issues with transportation or communication. 4) Administration: I. We have hired an internal applicant for the probation counselor position. We hired an external applicant to fill the vacant GAL volunteer coordinator position. II. 1 will be filling out an out of travel request for Travail Parker for a NACC conference in Baltimore, Maryland. 5) Needs of the Department I. The Casa manager migration was completed, and we will begin training in the upcoming weeks. II. 1 am strongly considering revamping the Guardian Ad Litem Administrator position. This position is currently a band 11 with the same pay as a Guardian Ad Litem. After weighing all of the pros and cons I believe if I revamp this position, it will be beneficial for our department organization structure as I am currently directly supervising all of the GAL unit staff and if there is a disagreement as we currently stand, they are unable to go to an impartial supervisor. I will be meeting with Decorah to discuss and evaluate further this project and I will keep you informed.
