3:15 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to add a subsection to Ch. 11.36 titled
"Wheeled All -Terrain Vehicles" adding Desert Aire roads within their Plat.
Sam Dart, Assistant Public Works Director described the request and stated Public Works recommends
approval. All roads are already 25 mph, so this is to only add WATV usage.
Pam Thorsen, via Webex, stated they went through a 2.5 year process to get this done and thanked
everyone.
A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones to approve the WATV ordinance amending Ch.
11.36 as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
