Re: Letter of Support — Small Business Innovation Fund
To Whom It May Concern:
The Grant County Commissioners write in support of the Port of Mattawa's application for
funding related to the. Sahli Business Development Center.
The Port of Mattawa has been working on developing this business center for many years and
has developed a long list of clients in desperate need of space to grow their business. Many of
these businesses are Hispanic owned and large percentages are women.
This proposed new business center will support real needs and create real opportunities for
growing the economy of south Grant County. We would urge your support of the Port of
Mattawa's request for funding for the construction of the Sahli Business Development Center.
We support the Port of Mattawa's request from Washington State Department of Commerce
Small Business Innovation Fund, as it has the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for its
stakeholders by providing opportunities to grow and expand our economy in south Grant County.
