HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 22-074-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION TO APPOINT RESOLUTION No. 22-*D'740*'CC GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF WHEREAS, the elected Grant County Sheriff has tendered his resignation, -ective July 1, 2022; and WHEREAS, The Republican Party completed the process, pursuant to Art II § 15 of the Washington State Constitution and provided one candidate to the Board of County Commissioners for an appointment to the position of Sheriff. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Interim Ryan Rectenwald is appointed as Sheriff, effective August 1, 2022. This appointment is effective until such time as a successor is elected and qualified.
