The Board of County Commissioners as the Legislative Authority of Grant County continue to
support and encourage the adoption of policy towards traffic safety planning and implementation
of measures to work towards a goal of zero roadway fatalities and zero serious injuries by 2030.
Grant County Public Works is applying for Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant and will
incorporate an Action Plan (Safety Action Plan) that will be developed with these funds, if
received. This goal is also in alignment with the Washington State Strategic Highway Safety
Plan of 2019 which also aims to reach zero fatalities and zero serious injuries by 2030.
The Grant County Commissioners are in full support of this grant application.
