Re: Washington State Historic County Courthouse Rehabilitation Grant Program
We, the Grant County Commissioners, support preserving and updating the historic Grant
County Courthouse. The Historical character of the 1917 building requires external repairs and
restoration to the Courthouse's entrance, specifically to the walls that bind the steps, the columns,
and original lighting repairs.
Grant County has been looking for ways and means to appropriate funds for this work.
Therefore, we have reviewed and fully endorsed the application for the Historic Courthouse
Rehabilitation Grant funds, which would. help meet our goal of maintaining the Historic
Courthouse.
