Re: Request for Change to County Mileage Reimburs mentR
Commissioners,
Grant County's current mileage reimbursement rate is $0.585 per mile. As of July 1, 2022, the
General Services Administration (GSA) mileage rates were increased to $0.625 per mile
(documentation attached). This rate increase is the same rate increase that the IRS initiated
effective July 1, 2022. With agreement from the Chief Accountant, I am recommending BOCC
approval to implement the increased mileage reimbursement rate of $0.625 per mile County-
wide, effective as of July 1, 2022.
Departments may need to adjust mileage spending from July 1—July 12, 2022 to correctly
account for difference of mileage and/or payment.
