Subject: Tourism Request for "Off -Site" 2023 Planning Retreat
Commissioners,
The Grant County Tourism Commissioner historically holds their annual budget/marketing
planning meeting in the summertime at local, Grant County areas that promote tourism. This year
the Commission will be visiting the Grand Coulee Dam area and is requesting approval to provide
food (at per diem rates) for the Commission &staff during this retreat.
This meeting will be used to develop the marketing strategy and proposed budget for the 2023
Tourism Commission that will be submitted to Grant County for the upcoming budget cycle. The
meeting is scheduled for 9:00 am — 2:00 pm at the Voltage Cafe in Grand Coulee, WA. On
Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
