Dear Grant County Commissioners, I am requesting the county to create a new special revenue fiend -'vessel Re istrat"on Fees . g I 142.001. This fund will account for vessel registration fees received from the state. The 9 use of these ffinds are legally restricted to boating safety education and enforcement per the intent found in R. 79A.60.010, and the condit"ons'n RCW 88.020.640, RCW 88.02.650 and WAC 352-65. Upon creation of the fund, I am requesting a cash, transfer of $117,855.25 from Current Expense 001.000 to Vessel Registration. Fees 142.001. 1 have worked with the Sheriff s of to determine this amount reflects the total vessel registration fees currently maintanod in Current E,Npense.
