Overview
The Public Works Department is proud to
announce preparation of Construction Plans and
Specifications to Reconstruct Road 3 -NE from
U -NE to X -NE (Attachment A & B). The
work includes the reconstruction of 2.97 miles
of two-lane County Road with associated
excavation, embankment, culvert crossings,
road base, and crushed top course to prepare for
a County Installed BST Surface.
BST Surface by County Staff:
The final BST surface is to be placed by County
Staff. The estimated cost is $200,000 for self -
performed work on this project.

Much of the planned funding for this project ($698,400) comes from a Rural Arterial Trust Account (RATA) through a
5.25.2021 project agreement Authorized by the CRAB Board (Attachment C,). The remainder of the ann—eypiffi–Rdff
project is to be provided by local County Public Works funding ($551,600).
