Re: Request to purchase HPE Storage controller and hard drives (Domestic Preparedness
Grant) Revenue 001.00.00.9114.3333970400., Expense code 001.114.00.9144-521203564
I am requesting to purchase 16 HPE Hard drives. This will include 1 storage controller and
internal cable kit for installation. ($16,.105.76 plus shipping cost)
This equipment will be used by Grant County Tech Services to enhance cybersecurity
capability. It will allow Grant County to backup up to 150 T13 of data to an immutable
backup repository. The immutable backup storage helps recover production data if it
becomes corrupt or compromised, accidentally deleted, and from malicious insider
activity.
These funds will come out of the Domestic Preparedness, Emergency Management
grant. CDW-G Quotation is attached to this letter for review.
