The Prosecutor's office requests authority to expend up to $10,000 (ten thousand
dollars) to defend Stevens County Prosecutor Timothy Rasmussen regarding bar complaints
filed by Sheriff Tom Jones and Undersheriff Ryan Rectenwald. Mr. Rasmussen was acting as
a Grant County Special Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at the time of the events in question. I
request that the BOCC approve expenditure of these funds.
