The LTAC convened, in-person, on May 19, 2022, to consider all qualified applications for the
Phase 2 — Event Only grant funding. The LTAC members that were involved in the deliberations
were actively appointed and include:
• Rob Jones — Chair
• Marilyn Meseberg, Rate Payer
• Goldye Moyer, Rater Payer
• Lori Valdez, Recipient
• Harriet Weber, Recipient
• Kevin Danby, Recipient
*The LTAC presently has one position vacant (rate payer).
The LTAC reviewed all applications that were submitted and met the minimum qualifications to
be considered for Grant Funding. All deliberations and final decisions were unanimously approved
by the LTAC and are being forwarded to the County Commissioners for consideration.
In accordance with RCW 67.28.1816 (2)(b)(ii), it is required that the municipality's legislative
body, the BOCC, make the final determination. The municipality may choose only recipients from
the list of candidates and recommended amounts provided by the local lodging tax advisory
committee. Below is the recommendation of the LTAC for Phase 2 funding:

Total amount recommended to be funded is 20 grants valued at $ 176,100. This amount for Phase
2 combined with the initial LTAC grants approved in January 2022, brings the 2022 LTAC tourism
grants totals to 47 grants valued at more than $ 93 0,100.
