Re: Budget extension for $75,,521.12 (Panasonic Toughbook 55-14" computer
purchase)
In 2021, Grant County Technology Services (GCTS) approached the Sheriff's Office
about replacing our entire inventory of laptop computers with Panasonic
Toughbook 55-14" units.
GCTS said the total amount needed to outfit each vehicle is $267,401.12. GCTS
agreed to pay $194,880.00, which left a remaining balance of $75,.521.12. The
BOCC agreed to a budget extension for the remaining balance for the 2021 budget.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of the GCTS or GCSO control, the
purchase was not finalized in 2021, nor was the $75,,521.12 budgeted for in 2022.
am now requesting a budget extension in the amount of $75,,521.12.
