Re: Request to purchase/Budget Extension 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe
I am requesting authorization to purchase 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe., VIN
1GNSI<DEC4GR146766, for $15,000 from Grant County Public Works. This vehicle
served as a primary 1<9 vehicle and is being cycled out of ERR do to the mileage.
We wish to purchase this vehicle, fully equipped as is.
If authorized, this vehicle will serve as the primary backup vehicle for our K9 unit,
in the event one of the ERR K9 vehicles goes down.
We currently have $12,685.12 remaining in the 2022 budgeted 118 account, which
leaves a remaining cash balance of $6,567.29 in the account. I am requesting a
budget extension in the amount of $6,567.29, this amount would be allocated to
118.195.00.0000.594216400.
If the extension is approved, the total balance of the account will be $19,251.41
which is enough to pay for the $15,000 Chevrolet Tahoe.
