Re: Request to Increase ER&R Motor Pool Mileage Per Diem Rate
Serial No. 22.050
This memorandum serves as an official request to the Board of Commissioners to increase
ER&R motor pool mileage per them rate from $-45/mile to $.585/mile.
The existing rate per mile ($.45) has been in effect for more than 10 years. This rate is being
assessed to cover for the replacement cost of the vehicles, as well as other related costs to
maintain the vehicles.
Due to recent rising of inflation as well as fuel costs, it is necessary to increase the motor pool
mileage per them rate to cover expenses sufficiently and adequately for ER&R motorpool fleet.
The Board of Commissioners has recently approved the County Mileage Reimbursement rate at
$.585 per mile. We are requesting for an increase of the same to ER&R mileage per them rate.
