Re: Authoriztion for budget extension- $332,000.00 (Expense

In August of 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a budget
extension in the amount. of $332,000.00 to purchase 98 mobile to mobile car
radios for the entire Sheriff's Office fleet.
These funds were granted to the Grant County Sheriff's Office by the Paul Lauzier
Charitable Foundation in early 2021. Unfortunately, the expense never occurred
in 2021, nor was the budget carried forward into 2022. 1 am requesting another
budget extension for the entire amount.
The revenue codes are 001.000.00.9114.367000000 for $111,000.00 and
001-000.00.0000.308000000 for $221,000.00 _,.
