Re: Noxious Weed Board Insurance
WRCIP issued two return premium credits for removing the Noxious Weed Board from
Grant County's policy ($4,412.83 property & $9,149.33 liability) totaling $13,562.16.
The Board paid $29,476.00 as their share of the 2021/22 WRCIP renewal. Prorating
this amount for the 85 days of coverage they received totals $$6,864.60, leaving a
credit due to the Board of $22,611.40.
$22,611.40 (credit due to Nox Weed Board) less $13,562.16 (WRCIP credit) leaves
$9,049.24 of WRCIP premium that is not allocated throughout other departments.
I am requesting:
1) Approval of reimbursement in the amount of $22,611.40 to the Noxious Weed
Board.
2) Direction in regards to the handling of the $9,049.24 unallocated WRCIP insurance
premium.
