RE: Drug Court Program Dept of Justice Grant a Budget Extension Request
Dear Cornmissioners:
Superior Court has received $366,667 in federal grant funds through the Department of Justice.
These funds will be evenly distributed over a four-year period which total $91,669.25/year
beginning in 2022. This amount is smaller than what was expected to receive. The grant request
was for $499,999,29, Judge Hill had met with you earlier this year and received a verbal agreement
to proceed with implementing Drug Court,
We are requesting a budget extension in 2022 for the amount of $122,262.10. The $91.,669.25
will come from the DOJ grant. The difference in the dollar amount would come from current
expense,
