New positions were discussed and approved within Central Services during the budget process.
New positions included an additional groundskeeper at the fairgrounds, an additional technician
position in technology services, and a new landscaper in the facilities department.
I placed the landscaper in the budget sheet in the only place I could as the sheet was locked.
Unfortunately, the position was not carried into the budget even though the Board approved it.
The job description has been completed, and we are ready to post the position. With the Boards
permission, I will go ahead and post the position and work with our accounting department to
make the changes to the budget so it reflects correctly.
