WHEREAS, on December 3rd, 2021, josh Pitts and two of his
came upon a serious auto accident, and co-workers were driving to 'work and
WHEREAS., the driver of the damagedand overturned auto was unconscious inside the
burning vehicle, and
WHEREAS. 'Mr. Pitts and his companions took it upon themselves to brave the flames
and extricate thelnj'Lired driver from his vehicle before the car became fully engulfed, and
WHEREAS, Will's courageous actions surely resulted in preventing the death of Mr.
Joshua Bessette.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT that the Grant
County Commission' ers and all the citizens of Grant County sincerely thank josh Pitts for his
courageous and selfless actions on behalf of his -fellow citizen. He is recognized for his
willingness to put his own life at risk to save another, one of the highest and most honorable acts
of the human experience.
