WHEREAS, on December 3rd, 2021, Aaron Murray and two of his co-workers were driving to
work and came upon a serious auto accident, and
WHEREAS, the driver of the damaged and overturned auto was unconscious inside the
burning vehicle, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Murray and his companions took it upon themselves to brave the
flames and extricate the injured driver from his vehicle before the car became fully engulfed, and
EREAS, Aaron's courageous actions surely resulted in preventing the death of Mr.
Joshua Bessette.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT that the Grant
County Commissioners and all the citizens of Grant County sincerely thank Aaron Murray for his
courageous and selfless actions on behalf of his fellow citizen. He is recognized for his
vAllingness to put his own life at risk to save another, one of the highest and most honorable acts
of the human experience.
