The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the Capital
Facilities Plan Appendices and a concurrent budget amendment/extension for the acquisition of certain
real property. The properties total approximately 86.90 acres and include APNs 16-0866-002, 16-0866-
003, and 16-0853-000. The subject properties are located just outside of Ephrata at the corner of Road
6.3 NW and SR 282 West. The total purchase price for all three properties is $785,000.00 plus
associated closing and filing fees (if any).
Tom Gaines, Central Services Director requested that this public hearing be continued to a future date
as there was further information to gather to complete the process. He recommended November JOY
2021 at 11:00 a.m.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to continue thep ublic
hearing till November 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The motion passed unanimously.
