Reference: City of George, Well No.3 Generator — SIP No. 2019-04
Dear Ms. Flynn:
The City of George hereby requests a new completion date of December 31, 2022 for the Well
No. 3 Generator project (SIP No. 2019-04). The City continues to move ahead on the project,
and has publicly bid and awarded the project. The Contractor has ated work on the project,
and has ordered the generator; however, due to the supply issues associated with the ongoing
COVID-1 9 pandemic, the generator delivery has been delayed and the Contractor will be unabiff,
to complete the project by the original completion date (12/31/2021). It is estimated that project
completion will be sometime in 2022, as soon as the generator arrives and the contractors can
resume construction.
