Re: Request to Purchase a New Bobcat

This year, Fairgrounds Maintenance (a Central Services department) requested to
purchase a new "Bobcat" skid steer. The current Bobcat is near the end of life, but will
be kept for use with its broom. A purchase quote was obtained thru Clark Equipment
Co., a vendor with the KCDA purchasing cooperative of which we are a member.
The model S64 "Bobcat" cost is $48,088.46 plus tax, bringing the total amount to
$52,031.17. The approved capital budget amount is $50,000.00 for this equipment,
With the Board's permission, the fairgrounds will proceed with this purchase,' funding the
budgeted amount, Of $50,000 from the approved capital account budget
