In the past, the Board of County Commissioners has authorized 7'anousyouth rates for the
use
of facilities at the f=airgrounds. From 4H and FFA who are not charged for events to Youth
equestrian rates that are $25 per hour or $300/day.
In all cases the damage deposit fees are waived.
To be consistent and to continue to encourage the use of the Fairgrounds by varI' youth
organizations I would like to propose the following: OUs
The Fairgrounds allows, based on availability, all youth programs (For youth under the age of
18), with their leaders, to use the Fairgrounds facilities free of charge based on availability
and not to impede programs that are paying to rent the facility. chi's policy is an effort to
recognize the importance of the facility in the development of youth programs, sponsored by
4-H, FFA and other various youth organizations.
.In addition, I request that the damage deposit be waived

rental items such as tables and chairs is also waived.
