The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Meeting to takeublic comment on
p the proposed
redistricting of the Grant County Commissioner Districts, using State Census Data and
the information
gathered by Sammamish Data Systems. It was noted that the Precinct Boundarychanges ges wiII be
discussed and voted on at a later date.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. It was then determined that public comment will be taken until the
adoption date of November 23, 2021. The motion was voted on in the negative. Public c comment will
continue to be taken. The motion to deny closing the public comment wasassed unanimously. mously.
