CADCA is holding their 311t annual national leadership forum in National Harbor, MD January 31, 2022 through
February 3, 2022. Megan Watson is requesting approval to attend this training.
Travel dates will be Sunday, January 30, 2022, and a return date of Friday, February 4, 2022.
Renew supports Megan's attendance at this event. Here are the reasons Megan has requested to attend this
training:
"CADCA's national leadership forum is a four day conference packed with multiple adult and youth -oriented
opportunities to learn the latest strategies to fight substance misuse and hear from nationally -known experts
and policymakers with a full day dedicated to Capitol Hill events. The forum is held in the Washington, DC area
every year and brings together more than 2,700 participants representing community coalitions, government
leaders, youth, addiction treatment professionals, researchers and many more individuals. This training is
strongly encouraged for all CPWI coalition coordinators. The knowledge and skills I will return with will be
instrumental in implementing impactful curriculum and stratieges for our community coalitions."
