HomeMy WebLinkAboutRequest to Purchase - BOCCBoard of County Commissioners Re: Request to Purchase IPADs for BOE Commissioners, Grant County Board of Equalization (BOE) POBox 37 Ephrata WA 98823 (509) 754-2011 Ext -2931 December 2, 2021 The Board of Equalization is requesting to purchase four (4) IPADs through GOTS in the amount not to exceed $3,291.81 for all items including tax. This will include 4-IP.AD Airs and 4 Keyboard Case ordered through GCTS and accounted for on the quadrennial plan. The BOE will be- automated by using these IPADs for hearings and review- of submitted materials prior to hearings. GCTS was involved in the selection of the exact item and provided said recommendation. Funding will come from the BOE budget without having to request a budget extension. The funds will be transferred internally as follows: • Amount: $ 35290.81 • Transferred From: 001.126.00.0000.514241201 — Temporary Help • Transferred To: 001.126.00.0000.514244900 — Miscellaneous IPADs will be purchased from the miscellaneous fiscal line upon approval during this fiscal year. This approval of this request and subsequent purchase and use will substantially improve the hearing process for the BOE members. Additionally, this reduce a significant amount of funding being spent on paper products for the hard -copy review of materials.
