proposal for the above -referenced SIP Project and that I am authorized to authenticate and
certify to this claim. I also certify that this claim is just and due, and is an unpaid obligation
against Grant County.
Further, according to the SIP Project Funding Policies, I attest. that at the next audit of my
entity, this project shall be called to the attention of the Washington State Auditor's Office
and an emphasis audit will be requested to assure that these funds were expended toward
the project and according to the intent of the proposal.

Subject: Port of Royal Slope — SIP grant 2019-10
Dear Commissioners:
The SIP Committee is recommending Grant County disburse to the Port of Royal Slope aprevious award
grant (2O29'1O)inthe amount of$I53/]OOin5-yearincrements of$2G,BOO. This would still equal the
awarded amount $135,ODO. This will help maximize the Port ofRoyal Slopes CER8award they received.
As a reminder, this award will help locate Torklift, Inc. into the vacant facility Eldorado Stone used to
occupy. It will create 90 jobs immediate and ramp up to 180 jobs in Royal City.
