Hello Barb,
As a follow up item from yesterday's BOCC meeting, regarding the response I received back from WRCIP on changing the
Misc. Property Deductible. I spoke to Commissioner Carter th.is afternoon regarding the deductible options we have
back from WRCIP.
Commissioner Carter requested for our office to contact you to have this item to be placed on the consent agenda for
BOCC.
Item:
Weare proposing a solution to the property deductible by amending only the Misc. Equipment deductible to $10,000,
and leaving the Commercial Property (Buildings)deductible at $50,000. As you know, we were able to provide an
approximate $100,000 premium credit for the increase of the property deductible to $50,.000 (includes the commercial
property and the misc. equipment). We can offer to reduce the deductible for misc. equipment to $10,000 for an
additional premium of approximately $10,000. We feel this is a plausible solution and one that can benefit all parties.
