I am writing to request an extension of SIP Grant No. 2021-01 from February 2022 through
December 31, 2022 for the reasons discussed below.
As of this date, we have currently utilized $16,259.72 to reimburse for electrical engineering
consulting and getting the project to the open bidding phase. We anticipate the bidding and awarding
to be accomplished by the end of this year. The purchase of the generator itself is expected to have a
long lead time before it will even be delivered to the site when the actual electrical work can
commence. Several other components related to extensive electrical work also have significantly long
lead times, all largely related to ongoing pandemic effects that are interrupting the manufacturing and
shipping supply chain.
I am requesting an extension of the completion date for the SIP Grant No. 2021-01 to be extended
through December 31, 2022.
