Page 2 of 7 Grant County Commissioners Minutes Week of December 20, 2021 After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to appoint Kevin McCrae as the Prosecuting Attorney beginning January 1, 2022. The motion passed unanimously. 3:00 p.m. — 3:30 p.m. K Eslinger and S Castro, Public Works Personnel Discussion Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(f) Commissioner Carter called an Executive Session to order at 3:00 p.m. to go until 3:15 p.m. regarding Personnel Disciplinary Matters. In attendance were Commissioners Carter, Stone and Jones, Sam Castro, Public Works Director and Kirk Eslinger, Human Resources Director (via WebEx). Item 2 was denied, and item 15 amended to increase the amount of the contract to $42,000.00. The motion passed unanimously. AUDITOR'S OFFICE 1. Payment of vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. (Approved) 6. Reimbursement #51 request #5 from Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) on the Washington State Department of Commerce Community Development Block Grant (CDBG CV1) No. 20-6221C-111 in the amount of $2,907.18 for August 2021 expenses. (Approved) 7. Amendment A on the Washington State Department of Commerce Community Services and Housing Division Housing Assistance Unit Eviction Rent Assistance Program 2.0 contract No. 21- 4619C-108 to add additional funds in the amount of $4,520.177.00 to a new contract total of $15,334,672.00. (Approved) 11. Letter of appreciation for Goldye Moyer's service to the Grant County Tourism Commission. (Approved) 12. Letter of appointment for Susan Parker to the Grant County Tourism Commission Board, representing District 3 with a term beginning January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2025. (Approved) 13. Request for release of funds on McKay Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center/Hospital District No. 4 Strategic Infrastructure Program SIP Grant No. 2021-01 (Phase 1 Capital Improvement Plan) in the amount of $3,653.62. (Approved) 14. Recommendation from Trask Insurance/WRCIP to amend the Miscellaneous Equipment deductible to $10,000 and leave the Commercial Property (buildings) deductible at $50,000. (Approved) 15. 2022 Animal Shelter Contract with Grant County Animal Outreach (GCAO) for the annual amount of $40,000.00 with a term of January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022. (Approved) NEW HOPE 18. 2022 Recording Fee Surcharge Distribution Agreement with the Housing Authority of Grant County, New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services for the sole purpose of distributing fund obtained by the County as a result of RCW 36.22.178.
