A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE RESOLUTION N®. 21- 13 ( -CC
ESTABLISHMENT OF A NEW FUND
TITLED "GC ABATEMENT FUND" #150
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that a new fund #150.000 titled "GC Abatement Fund" should bee •
stablished, and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used to assist in cleaning up properties that are out of
code enforcement compliance; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works began collecting an additional $1.00 tipping
fee; $0.15 per ton of which is to be distributed to the Grant County Health District to provide
additional funding for their Solid Waste activities and the other $0.85 per ton is to be transferred
to this Abatement Fund; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund and transfer of'
monies Into this fiend maybe
accomplished without a public hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY
THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY
,STATE OF WASHINGTON that

this fund s hereby created and established as listed above
and the Grant County Auditor and the
Grant County Treasurer are hereby directed to establish this'
fund in their respective offices.
