Whereas, the inclement weather made travel dangerous due to snowy and icy road conditions
and
Whereas, the Commissioners believe it is important to take the safety and wellbeing of County
employees into consideration, and
Whereas, the Commissioners find it in the best interest of the County to proclaim a state of
emergency within the Grant County Courthouse Complex and outlying facilities due to the weather.

Now, Therefore, the Grant County Board of Commissioners instruct Department Heads and
Elected. Officials to communicate with their employees with their options of working remotely, coming
in-person to the County offices if they can do so safely, or taking January 6 and 7 �2022 ofby
utilizing accrued leave.
