RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. CE 21-49
THE APPOINTMENT OF TRUSTEE -
OF THE NCW LIBRARIES DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Ms. Nancy Spurgeon has served as the Douglas County representative on the NCW Libraries
District Board of Trustees since 2020; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Spurgeon has completed the final year of a replacement term effective December 31,
2021; and
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners, has expressed confidence in the ability and qualifications of Ms.
Spurgeon to represent Douglas County on the Board of Trustees of the NCW Libraries District for
another seven (7) year term, commencing January 1, 2022,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,, that the Douglas County Board of Commissioners reappoints Nancy
Spurgeon to represent Douglas County on the Board of Trustees of the NCW Libraries comprised of
Grant, Chelan, Douglas, Ferry and Okanogan Counties said term expires December 31, 2028.
