WHEREAS, Grant County, as a political subdivision of Washington State, is generally
authorized to accept donations of real and personal property for public purposes for the benefit of
its citizens, and:
WHEREAS, Nora Pearl Fletcher of Hermiston, Oregon, by Power of Attorney Margalee
Morgan, desires to donate to the Grant County Sheriff s Office, a Department of Grant County,
tax parcel number 171293003 further described as follows:
PARCEL # 171293 003 IN W1/2E1/2W1/2 N OF CANAL 29 22 28 THE WEST HALF OF THE
EAST HALF OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER AND THAT PORTION OF THE WEST
HALF OF THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER LYING NORTHERLY OF
THE EAST LOW CANAL, ALL BEING IN SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE
28 E.W.M., GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON, CONTAINING 56 ACRES, MORE OR
LESS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners accept the gift from Nora Pearl Fletcher of Hermiston, Oregon, by Power of
Attorney Margalee Morgan, for public purpose and as a benefit to the citizens of Grant County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Grant County Treasurer is hereby
directed to issue a receipt to the donor acknowledging the County's receipt and
