GRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MONDAY, AUGUST 13, 2018
The Grant County Commissioners session began at 8:30 a.m. with all Commissioners in attendance.
8:30 a.m. — 9:00 a.m. Elected Official Roundtable
9:00 a.m. — 9:20 a.m. J Hammond, ASC Update and Misc BOCC Action (Items 1 through 6)
A motion was made by Commissioner Taylor, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to approve items 1, 2,.
and 4 through 6 on the agenda as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
1. Possible vouchers for insurance, legal services, grant administration, etc. (Approved)
2. Reimbursement Request #13 on Washington State Department of Commerce on Consolidated
Homeless Grant, (CHG) No. 17-46108-10, administered through the Grant County Housing
Authority, in the amount of $24,812.16. (Approved)
3. Held from July 9, 2018; Grant County 2018 Statement, Moses Lake Irrigation & Rehabilitation
District tax in the amount of $9,034.39 (amount to be paid to Grant County Treasurer). (This
item is being placed on hold until Superior Court rules on this subject)
4. Professional Services Agreement for Legal Representation of Indigent Individuals in Grant
County Superior Court (Adult Felony Only), Conflicts/Overflow Contractor, between Grant
county and N. Smith Hagopian. Term is January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019. (Approved)
5. Memorandum of Understanding Regarding Community Truancy Boards between the Soap Lake
School District and Grant County, by and through Grant County Juvenile Court and Youth
Services. Term is September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019. (Approved)
6. Memorandum of Understanding Regarding Community Truancy Boards between the Wahluke
School District and Grant County, by and through Grant County Juvenile Court & Youth Services.
Term is September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019. (Approved)
9:30 a.m. — 9:50 a.m. Consent Agenda (Items 1 through 3)
A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to approve items 1 and
3 on the agenda as presented. Item 2 was placed on hold for further review. The motion passed
unanimously.

AUDITOR'S OFFICE —ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT
2. Payment of vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those
expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090,
as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. (Approved in the amount of
$1,855,288.41)
3. Recommendation to revoke the previously approved authorization for the Sheriff's Office to
purchase meals/beverages on a county issued credit card and instead employees would pay for
the expense out of pocket and use the expense reimbursement for to receive reimbursement
for the expenses. (Item was placed on hold for further review)
