RESOLUTION ADOPTING FEDERAL RESOLUTION No. 18- -CC
PROCUREMENT PROCEDURES
WHEREAS, The Board adopted Resolution 09 -080 -CC on September 14, 2009 A Resolution of
Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, A Resolution repealing Resolution No.
99 -21 -CC,. and establishing new procedures relating to Purchasing and Public Works Contracting,
Reestablishing a Vendor List process for Purchasing Materials, Equipment and Supplies, and a Small
Works Roster Process to Award Public Works Contracts and, other matters properly relating thereto; and
WHEREAS, Ch. 39.80 RCW and other laws regarding contracting for consulting services by
municipalities allow certain contracts to be awarded by a consultant roster process; and
WHEREAS, the County must adhere to the Federal Procurement requirements, as prescribed by
2 CFR sections 200.317 through 2 CFR 200.326 Uniform Guidance, for purchases with federal funds
based upon the five methods of procurement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners hereby adopt
the federal procurement standards for the five methods when federal funds are being used
1. Micro -purchases
2. Small Purchases
3. Sealed Bids
4. Competitive Proposals
5. Sole Source
