Week of June 12,1989
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at
10:30 a.m. by Chairman Glenn Chamberlain. All of the Commissioners
were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners approved the minutes of the preceeding session.
Chairman Chamberlain was authorized to sign the Notice of Separation
or Work Interruption of Clara J. Fread of the Auditors' Office effective
June 5 , x.989 .
The Commissioners signed a Conditional Use Permit for the proposed
development of a two lane boat launch, associated parking and access
road at the Moses Lake State Park by the Washington State Parks and
Recreation Commission.
The Commissioners set Public Meetings for the following matters
from the Planning Commission:
Preliminary Plat by Harold Hochstatter, set for June 27,1989 at
2:00 p.m.
Plat vacation of Deer Crossing by Donald W. Opalka, et al, set
for June 27,1989 at 2:30 p.m.
Preliminary Plat by John Denton, set for June 27,1989 at 3:00 p.m.
The Commissioners received a complaint regarding property being
damaged by users of the ORV park in the Moses Lake sand dunes. The
matter was referred to the Sheriff and the Prosecuting Attorney.
The Commissioners met with various Department Heads and Elected.
Officials regarding matters of mutual concern.
As there was no further business the session was continued until
June 13,1989.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commis-
sioners in attendance with the Clerk of. the Board.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Department regarding
Resolution-re-authourization Federal Property Purchase, Property Transfer -
'20' NE, Contract Execution -'K' NE, '9' NE -'M' to 'N', 'W' NW -No Parking,
RAP, Personnel.
The Commissioners signed a contract with Tommer Construction for
the V NE Road Reconstruction project.
The Commissioners signed a Quit Claim Deed to John G. Ellis for
approximately .73 acres of land.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher
approval #5-1 through #5-166 in the total amount of $699,106.80.
The Commissioners met with Joseph Bescetta regarding the "Grand-
father Cuts Loose the Ponies" project.
As there was no further business the session was adjourned until
June 19,1989.
