SUBJECT: PUD PRIVILEGE TAXES
DATE: JUNE 19, 1989
According to R.C.W. 54.28.090, the county legislative
authority shall direct the county treasurer to distribute
these funds to each taxing district in the county other
than school districts, in a manner they deem most equitable,
except not less than an amount equal to .75% of the gross
revenues obtained by a district from the sale of electrical
energy within any unincorporated city or town shall be -remitted
to such city or town.
Attached is a copy of the computation of the cities' and
towns' portion v;hich amounts to a total of $75,025.49 and
money to go directly to Fire 8 General and North Central
Regional Library. The balance of $863,650.50 is to be
distributed according to Your direction.
