ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE
ADOPTION OF THE 2018
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP AND REVISED
CHAPTERS 23.04, 23.12, AND 24.08 OF
THE GRANT COUNTY CODE TO
IMPLEMENT THE 2018
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

GRANT COUNTY DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES
WHEREAS, The Grant County Board of County Commissioners find that it serves the public
health, safety, and welfare to adopt the 2018 Comprehensive Plan along with revised Chapters 23.04, 23.12,
and 24.08 of the Grant County Code and an Official Zoning Map that are consistent with the requirements
of Chapter 36.70A, RCW; and,
WHEREAS, the 2018 Comprehensive Plan, revised Chapters 23.04, 23.12, and 24.08, and Official
Zoning Map are hereby adopted pursuant to Chapter 36.70A, RCW and supersede all prior versions; and,
WHEREAS, If any provision of this ordinance is declared unconstitutional, or the applicability
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance and the applicability
thereof to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby; and,
WHEREAS, the effective date of this ordinance and the referenced adopted provisions shall take
effect and be in full force upon its passage and adoption; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED THAT the Grant County Board
of Commissioners adopt the 2018 Comprehensive Plan, Chapters 23.04, 23.12, and 24.08 of the
Grant County Code and an Official Zoning Map which implements the 2018 Comprehensive
Plan.
